These terms apply to your use of jackcartwright.co.uk and to any signed books you buy from our shop. Please read them before placing an order. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.
The site is run by Weston Media Limited trading as Jack Cartwright, 15 Newland, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN1 1XG. You can contact us through our contact page.
All text, book covers, images, videos, logos and other content on this site belong to Jack Cartwright or are used with permission. You may view and share links to the site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse any content without our written permission. Press materials in our press kit may be used for press and event coverage of Jack Cartwright.
We try to keep everything on the site accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee it's always complete or error-free. Prices and availability on Amazon and other retailers are set by those retailers and may change.
The site links to other websites, including Amazon, Sykes Cottages and social media platforms. We're not responsible for their content or how they use your information. Some book links are affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure).
When you place an order, you'll receive an email confirming we've received it. This is not yet acceptance. A contract between us is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched. If we can't accept your order, for example because a book is out of stock, we'll let you know and refund any payment in full.
Each book is personally signed by Jack Cartwright. Signatures are handwritten, so each one is slightly different. Product images are for illustration, and the printed book may differ slightly in colour or finish.
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). Postage is shown separately at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken at the time of your order through our secure payment provider. If a price on the site is clearly wrong, we'll contact you before dispatching your order and you can choose whether to continue or cancel.
The books become yours once they've been delivered.
If your order arrives damaged or doesn't arrive, please tell us within 7 days. You also have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. Full details are in our Returns & Refunds Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
If we fail to keep to these terms, we're responsible for any loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for any business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited.
We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If this happens, we'll let you know and do what we can to reduce the effect.
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
